Cha-Cha, the Chow & Buster and Golda
We adopted Cha Cha from Free Spirit Siberian Rescue five years ago. Free Spirit had heard that he was in a shelter in Indiana and because he was heartworm positive the shelter was going to euthanize him. Karen from Free Spirit wouldn’t hear of such a thing, so off she went to Indiana, brought him back to the rescue group and doctored him back to health! Karen told me that he was only on the website for 20 minutes before they received my application…our match was truly meant to be! Cha Cha has been the best family member as person could ask for! Please…when considering a pet, remember to save a loving pet through adoption.

Buster the Border Collie is 10 years old, I got him from a farm when he was 8 weeks old. Golda is 3 years old and I adopted her from Friends Forever, she was part of a litter of 8, all the others were black like their black lab mom, the father was a chow. When the mother was brought in she was heart worm positive and quite sick, the puppies were weaned early, I got Golda at 6 weeks old. Sadly all the others were put down for very bad behavior issues but we worked and worked with Golda and she now loves people though standoffish when she first meets them. BUT she does not like any other dogs except her brother Buster.
She was a runner and alot of work,we live in the country and she was going after cows, well the farmers around here will not tolerate that at all! But with our new collar system she stays within 90 feet of the house and does not cross the border. We purchased a petsafe wireless system and it has saved us and her ! We love her to pieces. She has become a pretty good little girl
