Aslan ~ The newest Addition to the Bodine Family!

Adopted 1/27/2009, at about 1 year old. My family raised English Pointers, and I don’t see an ounce of mix in him at all, he may not be registered, but I am sure he is pure pointer.

He is VERY full of energy but the biggest snuggler ever. He always likes to sit on your lap like a human. He LOVES eating my garden (he has successfully eaten all my lettuce and he thinks my onions are play toys) and chasing bugs in the back yard. He has recently learned to fetch, and shake within three weeks of coming home. He bounces around the yard like a little pogo stick and has even made good friends with the two German Shepherds next door.

If you open a Starburst, he won’t leave you alone! (you have to share Starburst, he can’t take it) He fit into our household quickly, the adjustment period was short. He does still have a little separation anxiety, but I am sure that will ease with time.

He is also a good protector, he isn’t a barker, but let someone come toward the house and he is instantly alert and ready.

The beagle “talks” to my husband, and now Aslan is learning to “talk” to! Its quite funny.
