I AM LOOKING TO ADOPTING A 6-8 MONTH OLD GERMAN SHEPARD. I LOST MY PET 2 YEARS AGO AND KNOW THAT THE TIME IS RIGHT FOR ME TO ADOPT A DOG. I COME WITH EXCELLANT REFERENCES FROM MY VET, FRIENDS AND JANESVILLE HUMANE CENTER. I HAVE TO HAVE A FEMALE BECAUSE WE HAVE A MALE DOG AND I THINK IT WOULD WORK OUT BETTER AS FAR AS DOG ISSUES.

Hey Shirley, thanks for checking out my website and for your message. I will keep my eyes open for a pup for you. Does it have to be a true bred, or can it be mixed with shepard? Have you looked online at the Janesville Humane Society or the Winn. County Animal Services? My favorite place to look is at http://www.petfinder.com as you can put all the things you are looking for in such as breed, gender, etc. Please try that and let me know if you have any sucess. I will also let you know if I hear of any dog like what you are looking for. sorry for the loss of your pet~ Lisa

Hello,

I am looking to adopt a new buddy for one of my dogs, sadly my ‘old guy’ won’t be with us much longer and I am very concerned about the other one when that happens. If I can get someone else home first, I feel it will make teh transition easier. Anyway, I am hoping for an adult, preferably neutered male – a boxer/lab or boxer/hound mix would be wonderful! I have two grandsons who think that dogs are for loving, hugging & feeding, so I need someone who gets along well with other dogs & little boys. We are going to visit the shelters in Rockford & Janesville, but more eyes looking sure can’t hurt! Thanks for any help you can give!!
